ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND

You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those seeking a personalized work schedule.

As an On-Demand TM, you will not be included on the posted weekly schedule but can create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or team members via our myTime mobile scheduling app.

Active engagement is required: picking up and working shifts, responding to contact attempts. Failure to respond or work at least once every 4 months (or 5 months starting December 2024) may result in employment termination.

You will attend a Target Welcome orientation and complete a short-term structured training schedule. Afterward, shifts can be picked up through the myTime app.

ALL ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT

Guest Advocates focus on exceeding guest service expectations through interaction and recovery, knowledgeable about store capabilities, and making shopping quick and easy.

Skills developed include communication, problem-solving, adaptability, and promoting store benefits and services.

Typical responsibilities include greeting guests, understanding their needs, assisting with products and services, scanning and bagging items, minimizing wait times, and maintaining a clean work area.

Additional duties involve supporting order pick-up, Drive-Up services, returns, cash handling, and maintaining safety and compliance standards.
