ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND

You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those seeking a personalized work schedule.

As an On-Demand TM, you will not be scheduled in advance but can create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or team members via our myTime mobile app. Active engagement by picking up and working shifts and responding to contact attempts is required.

Regular attendance is necessary. You must work at least once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours). Flexibility can be granted for personal circumstances, but response to contact attempts is mandatory. You will be terminated if you do not work at least one shift within 6 months (or 5 months starting December 2024).

Participation in a Target Welcome orientation and a short-term training schedule is required. Afterward, shifts are scheduled via the myTime app.

ALL ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT

Guest Advocates focus on delivering exceptional guest service, promoting store capabilities, and ensuring quick, easy shopping experiences. They are knowledgeable about store features, loyalty programs, and fulfillment services.

Skills developed in this role include effective communication, problem solving, adaptability, and promoting store benefits.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Greeting guests and creating a welcoming environment
• Understanding guest needs through body language and conversation
• Using store tools, products, and services to assist guests
• Scanning, bagging, and handling transactions accurately
• Minimizing wait times while maintaining service quality
• Informing guests about store events, launches, and loyalty programs
• Assisting with returns, de-escalating issues, and supporting order pickup and drive-up services
• Maintaining a clean, safe work environment
• Supporting cash office and other duties as needed
