ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND

You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM, with flexible scheduling based on store needs and shift availability. This role is ideal for those seeking a personalized work schedule.

As an On-Demand TM, you will not be scheduled in advance but can create your own schedule by picking up shifts via our myTime mobile app. Active engagement by picking up and working shifts, and responding to our contact attempts, is required.

Regular attendance is necessary. You must work at least once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours). If unable to work once every 4 weeks due to personal circumstances, flexibility can be granted, but you must respond to contact attempts. If no response is received, your employment may be terminated. Starting December 2024, this period is reduced to 5 months.

Participation in a Target Welcome orientation and short-term training is required. The myTime app is used to pick up shifts.

ALL ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT

Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest expectations through interaction and recovery. Knowledgeable about in-store and digital services, capable of making shopping quick and easy.

Skills developed include:

• Promoting store benefits and services

Typical responsibilities include:

• Providing excellent guest service and greeting guests
• Understanding guest needs through body language and conversation
• Using store tools and knowledge to assist guests
• Efficiently scanning, bagging, and handling transactions
• Minimizing wait times while maintaining accuracy
• Promoting loyalty programs and fulfillment options
• Handling returns and de-escalating issues
• Supporting order pick-up and drive-up services
• Maintaining a clean work area and supporting safety and compliance

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Ideal candidates enjoy a lively environment, interacting with guests, and working as part of a team. Skills include effective communication, focus, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and with technology.

Additional requirements:

• Accurate cash handling and support for cash office
• Ability to lift merchandise up to 44 pounds
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Active engagement with shifts via the myTime app
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and remain mobile during shifts
