Job summary

Roxbury Community College (RCC) is seeking a Student Enrollment Ambassador to assist prospective and current students with enrollment services and campus resources. The role operates within RCC Connect, Admissions, and Transfer Services, offering peer guidance, outreach, and referrals in a welcoming, professional manner.

Responsibilities include check-in, form distribution, data entry, and reminders of deadlines.

Qualifications

• Must be a currently enrolled RCC student eligible for Federal Work-Study
• Must have completed at least one semester at RCC
• Must maintain SAP per financial-aid requirements
• Must complete all required student-employment and payroll documentation
• Work only the approved FWS schedule and duties assigned by the RCC supervisor
• FWS eligibility and hours limits are enforced by RCC

Responsibilities

• Welcome prospective and current students and provide approved information about RCC enrollment services and campus resources
• Assist with basic navigation of RCC Connect and other enrollment tools
• Support check-in, queue management, outreach, event registration, forms, and distribution of approved materials
• Perform routine data entry, filing, scanning, copying, and organization of enrollment materials
• Provide reminders about published deadlines and process steps using staff-approved information
• Refer admissions, residency, financial aid, registration, or academic decisions to authorized staff
