Job summary

You will support inter-departmental IT teams, resolve issues, and improve system performance while upholding campus standards. Requires a high school diploma or GED; no licensure is needed. This is an on‑campus, in-person role at TCU.

Qualifications

• Must have familiarity with current technology and software/hardware basics.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues efficiently.
• Knowledge to build or repair and assemble computer parts as needed.
• Understanding of operating systems and common software applications.
• Able to communicate technical information clearly to users.

Responsibilities

• Establishes, modifies, and upgrades systems and applications by installing or updating computer hardware, software, and related services.
• Provides technical support to inter-departmental IT teams across Networking Infrastructure, Information Security, Systems Administration, Development, and Support.
• Identifies, analyzes and resolves issues by consulting with users and team members.
• Improves system performance by investigating current environment and applying standard solutions.
• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organizational standards.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
