Job summary

The University of Texas at Dallas in Richardson is seeking a regular full-time IT support professional for the Office of Information Technology. You will install, maintain, and upgrade hardware and software, and provide technical support to students, faculty, and staff in OIT Computer Labs and walk-up support areas.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to University faculty, staff and students.
• Coordinate evaluation of new Lab software/hardware.
• Coordinate the implementation of future software/hardware installations.
• Assist the Lab Manager with hiring, training, supervising, mentoring, and scheduling of student worker staff.
• Test complete system, all applications and network connectivity according to UTD guidelines.
