Job summary

The University of Notre Dame on-campus IT Support Assistant role is part of the Office of Information Technology. The position focuses on configuring computers, assisting end-users, and maintaining security compliance while collaborating with a larger IT team.

Shifts run between 7:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., averaging 16–18 hours per week, with an hourly rate of $17.50. Remote work is not offered and relocation assistance or bonuses are not included.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Schedule and meet with end-users who have technical needs.
• Configure computers with software, printers, and other specs for users.
• Support faculty in classroom environments with technical challenges.
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of computer systems.
• Document the intake and return of computers.
• Escalate challenges to higher tiers of support as needed.
• Skillfully update ServiceNow records.
• Participate in self-led professional development.
