Ball State University’s North Dining Starbucks on campus is seeking a Food Concept Group Leader to guide and develop a frontline team. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, quality control, and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced dining environment.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
Two years of direct or related work experience in food service.
Must be able to read and comprehend all specified policies and procedures.
You must be 18 years or older.
Preferred: Additional experience in food service.
Preferred: Supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership and team building skills.

Responsibilities

Lead, direct, and assist employees to meet license/franchise and department standards for food prep, service, quality and safety.
Perform food preparation, service, and cashiering duties when assigned.
Count safe and audit cashier reports and report discrepancies; maintain accurate cash handling.
Scrutinize inventory levels and manage purchasing following Ball State University policies.
Assist in marketing and promotions and in planning menus and events.
