Job summary

Avenue5 Residential in Tracy, CA is seeking a skilled maintenance technician who will address apartment and property maintenance duties under supervision, while delivering top-tier resident service and curb appeal.

You will perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and grounds tasks, maintain work orders, respond to emergencies, and uphold safety standards. A valid driver's license and one year of property management or related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in the property management industry or related field.
• General maintenance and carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, plumbing, appliance, flooring, carpentry, HVAC and grounds maintenance as directed.
• Carry out wall repairs, cabinet replacement, finish carpentry and door/lock repair.
• Maintain work orders and ensure resident satisfaction with timely completions.
• Inspect property grounds, buildings and amenities for safety and cleanliness; identify issues.
• Assist with emergencies and after-hours maintenance; communicate issues to leadership.
