Job summary

New Narrative in the Portland metro area is seeking a Residential Support Specialist to cover day, swing, and overnight shifts at multiple residential locations.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide skills-based support, activities of daily living, and therapeutic interventions while promoting autonomy and safety.

Applicants must be 18+, hold a High School Diploma or GED, and be CPR certified with Naloxone administration capability; QMHA credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be able to administer CPR and Naloxone.
• Must be comfortable working independently.

Responsibilities

• Engage with residents to support movement toward goals.
• Assist with activities of daily living and household tasks.
• Support medication management and appointments as needed.
• Conduct safety checks, fire drills, and incident reporting.
• Facilitate group activities and community engagement.
