Job summary

New Narrative is seeking a part-time Residential Support Specialist to work in our Portland, Oregon area residential programs. You will support residents with daily living tasks, medication routines, and life skills building within a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires CPR certification, the ability to administer Naloxone, and a preference for QMHA credentials. Shift includes evenings and weekends as scheduled, with a focus on safety, dignity, and person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• QMHA credentials preferred.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to implement emergency procedures.
• Naloxone administration ability required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident support to help goals and daily living tasks.
• Assist with meals, hygiene, medication management and crisis de-escalation.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the living environment.
• Complete shift documentation, MAR, incident reports, and logs.
• Participate in team-based care and staff meetings.
