Job summary

Greystar is hiring a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring property buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

The role involves preventive maintenance, make-ready tasks for vacant units, inventory control, and adherence to safety policies. On-site work with potential housing discounts and eligibility for incentive bonuses is offered.

Qualifications

• 1-2 Years experience in maintenance or related field.
• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling are required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing and repairing defects.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including inspections and coordinating with vendors.
• Maintains inventory, documents work, and follows safety policies and procedures.
• Assists in groundskeeping and general cleaning to maintain exterior and common areas.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
