Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality.

You will handle work orders, complete make-ready tasks for vacant units, manage supplies, document work accurately, and assist with grounds and painting as needed. Onsite housing discounts and comprehensive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose defects from resident service requests and perform repairs per policy and safety codes.
• Complete make-ready tasks for vacant units, including inspections and scheduling needed work.
• Manage materials and inventory, track usage and re-order supplies.
• Document work requests accurately for tracking.
• Assist with grounds, cleaning, and painting as needed.
• Help reduce costs by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
