Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring all property areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. The role includes completing work orders, prepping vacant units, and ensuring documentation is accurate.

Essential responsibilities cover diagnosing defects, making repairs, following safety protocols, and coordinating with vendors. Onsite with a comprehensive benefits package, the role requires EPA refrigerant

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, depending on property size.
• All certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing and repairing defects.
• Executes make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including pre-move-out inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Follows procedures to access materials and track inventory, returning unused items and notifying when re-ordering is needed.
• Completes documentation and paperwork to document and track service requests.
• Maintains grounds and amenities by cleaning, painting curbs and signage, and assisting with upkeep.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.
