Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical duties ensuring building and grounds meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. The role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and supporting make-ready processes for new move-ins.

Responsibilities include documentation, inventory tracking, and maintaining common areas, with a schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and travel to assist other properties if needed.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All state/local jurisdiction certifications as required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair assigned maintenance issues on the property per safety standards.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate required tasks.
• Track inventory, obtain supplies, and notify supervisor for re-orders.
• Document work orders accurately and promptly.
• Maintain grounds and amenities; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts where feasible.
