Job summary

Greystar is seeking an on-site Service Technician to uphold the property’s physical condition, safety, and appearance. You will handle routine maintenance, safety compliance, and the make-ready process for vacant units, ensuring timely, quality service across common areas and grounds.

You will work a Monday–Friday schedule with rotating on-call shifts, stand for extended periods, and travel as needed to support multiple properties.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant handling certifications (Type 1 and II or Universal) required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property as needed.
• State/local certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance, diagnose defects, and repair per policies and codes.
• Perform make-ready tasks for vacant units, including inspections, punch lists, and coordinating vendors.
• Access materials and track inventory, notify supervisor for re-orders.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly.
• Maintain grounds and amenities; assist with cleaning, painting, and debris removal.
• Support cost-saving by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.

Education

EPA certifications Type 1 & II or Universal (refrigerant recycling)
