Job summary

National Community Renaissance is seeking a diligent Maintenance Technician to support property upkeep across our Fontana community. You will perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks, complete work orders within 24 hours, and assist with custodial and grounds duties to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

Under supervision, you will assist in inspections, inventory control, and coordinating with the Resident Services team to address resident requests.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of maintenance experience preferred; 2+ years preferred.
• Technical certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor electrical repairs on appliances, fixtures, switches and outlets.
• Perform minor plumbing work, such as clearing drain stoppages, replacing fittings and faucets.
• Replace broken tile, screens, garbage disposals, fixtures, appliances, blinds, and locks.
• Paint interior and exterior as directed.
• Perform minor carpentry work and shelving tasks as directed.
• Assist in custodial work: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash, windows in common areas.
