Job summary

National Community Renaissance in Pomona, CA seeks a Maintenance Technician to support property upkeep and repairs. Under supervision, you will assist with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and custodial tasks across the community.

Responsibilities include handling work orders, inspections, and unit turnovers; maintaining safe, orderly work areas; and coordinating with the Community Manager and Resident Services Supervisor. A valid CA driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of maintenance or related experience preferred.
• High school education or equivalent required; relevant certifications are a plus.
• Valid California driver’s license and automobile insurance required.
• English (and Spanish where appropriate) communication with residents and team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance of common areas and units, perform minor electrical/plumbing tasks.
• Repair fixtures, tiles, blinds, and locks; replace appliances as directed.
• Paint interior and exterior surfaces; assist in carpentry and cabinetry.
• Maintain grounds, clean facilities, and support custodial duties.
• Complete work orders within 24 hours and report status to supervisors.
• Participate in standby emergency coverage with rapid response expectations.
• Assist with annual apartment inspections and turnover of vacant units.
