Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. Responsibilities include handling work orders, preventative maintenance, and preparing units for leasing.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, state/local certifications as required, and a valid driver’s license to operate site equipment. A flexible schedule with on-call duties is expected at times.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling are required.
• State and local jurisdiction certifications as required are required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property may be required at some properties.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Prepares vacant apartment homes for leasing by completing inspections and setting a punch list.
• Obtains materials and coordinates with vendors/contractors; tracks inventory and re-orders as needed.
