Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform essential maintenance across the property's buildings, grounds, and amenities, ensuring safety and adherence to company standards. The role involves diagnosing repairs, completing make-ready tasks for vacant units, managing inventory, and documenting work orders while supporting cost-control and on-call schedules.

The position requires EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license; candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All state and local certifications required by jurisdiction.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects on the property following safety standards and code requirements.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Procure materials by tracking inventory and notifying supervisor when re-orders are needed.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking.
• Maintain grounds, amenities, and perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by fixing parts instead of replacing when feasible.
• Assist in inspections to identify safety and risk concerns and communicate to management.
