Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the property's buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas to meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality. The role includes handling work orders, make-readies for new move-ins, inventory management, and on-site inspections.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1 and II or Universal) required.
• All state/local certifications required by jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and safety standards.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling, and material procurement.
• Accesses and obtains materials from maintenance, tracks inventory, returns unused items, and notifies supervisor on re-orders.
• Documents and completes paperwork to document and track service requests promptly and accurately.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, painting curbs/signage, and keeping areas in good repair.
• Supports cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible and using tools and materials efficiently.

Education

EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certification

State and Local certifications
