Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings, grounds, and amenities meet company standards. Responsibilities include diagnosing defects, completing make-ready tasks, and maintaining common areas, with on-call rotation and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Essential duties include preventive maintenance, documentation, and following safety policies. EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver's license are required; on-site role may involve

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1, II or Universal refrigerant certifications.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair property defects per policy and code requirements.
• Perform make-ready tasks and coordinate vendors for vacancies.
• Track inventory and obtain materials for work orders.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking.
• Maintain grounds and amenities, including cleaning and minor repairs.
• Contribute to cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
