Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician for our Mountain House community to perform routine and preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and complete make‑ready tasks for new move‑ins. This on‑site role requires 1–2 years of experience and EPA refrigerant certifications, plus a valid driver’s license.

You will follow safety protocols, maintain grounds and common areas, and help manage materials and inventory. The position offers competitive pay and benefits with generous time off.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant recycling certification required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart as applicable.
• 1–2 years of maintenance or service experience.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing and move‑ins by completing the pre‑move‑out inspection, creating a punch list of maintenance work needed, scheduling vendors and contractors as needed, obtaining needed supplies and materials, completing all maintenance tasks, and inspecting completed work.
• Follows procedures to access materials and track inventory for maintenance, returning unused items to the established location, and notifying the maintenance supervisor about re‑ordering needs.
• Completes documentation and other paperwork for service requests in a timely, accurate manner.
• Assists in maintaining the grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Supports cost‑cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible and using tools and materials efficiently.
