Job summary

Right At School is hiring a part-time substitute Educator for before and after school programs in Evanston, IL. You will supervise, plan activities, support homework, and foster a safe learning environment at schools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children (preferred).
• Ability to lead groups of children in activities and games.
• Excellent customer service and communication with children and adults.
• Reliable and punctual; able to commit to a part-time schedule.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in students and take attendance.
• Plan and lead daily activities and enrichment lessons.
• Support with homework tasks and academic activities.
• Supervise during play, snack, and transitions.
• Address minor conflicts with positive guidance.
• Communicate with parents at pick-up/drop-off.
• Log incidents and safety concerns promptly.
• Set up and clean up program space each day.
• Attend brief daily team meetings.
