Job summary

Right At School is seeking an on-call part-time Educator to work with students at Winnetka School District. You will lead engaging activities, supervise students, and support learning in a safe environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of child experience, can lift 25 lbs, and demonstrate reliable attendance. Benefits include health/dental, 401(k), and staff perks. Training and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 (preferred).
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout a shift.
• Reliable and punctual with a consistent part-time schedule.
• First Aid and hands-on CPR required.
• Background Check with fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in students and take attendance.
• Plan and lead daily activities and enrichment lessons.
• Facilitate homework time and assist with academic tasks.
• Supervise during free play, snack time, and transitions.
• Address minor conflicts using positive guidance techniques.
• Communicate with parents/guardians at pick‑up and drop‑off.
• Report incidents and safety concerns to the Program Manager.
• Set up and clean up program space and materials.
• Attend brief daily team meetings.
