Job summary

Right At School is hiring educators to work on-site in Elgin, IL, delivering before and after school programs. You will lead activities, supervise students, and support homework in a safe, structured setting.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience working with children (preferred).
• Strong communication and customer service with adults and children.
• Reliable with ability to commit to a consistent part-time schedule.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in students, take attendance, and maintain records.
• Plan and lead daily activities and enrichment lessons.
• Facilitate homework time and support academic tasks as needed.
• Supervise during transitions, snack, and free play, ensuring safety.
• Address conflicts with positive guidance and communicate with parents at pick‑up/drop‑off.
• Log incidents and safety concerns to the Program Manager.
