Job summary

Hallmark Management is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician to perform repairs, troubleshoot systems, and conduct preventive maintenance at a multifamily property in Florida. You will be on site for routine duties and available for emergency calls, while helping train Groundskeepers and junior staff.

Responsibilities include inspecting and maintaining HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and pool systems, coordinating with vendors, and handling work orders and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Two years maintenance experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written English communication skills.
• A valid driver's license required.
• Fair Housing Certificate required.
• HVAC and/or EPA certification preferred.
• Previous multifamily experience preferred.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs, troubleshoots systems, and completes preventative maintenance.
• On-site basic repairs including HVAC, appliances, water heaters, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Available for emergency maintenance calls 24 hours a day when scheduled.
• Assist in training Groundskeepers and entry level Maintenance Technicians.
• Troubleshoots all property systems and oversee repairs.
• Inspect maintenance-related items and assist in building inspections by regulators.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance including winterizing facilities and pool equipment.
• Inspect vacant units, assist with turnovers, and paint as needed.
• Inspect subcontracted providers and document work quality.
• Maintain grounds and remove debris; handle snow/ice as needed.
• Attend required training and complete administrative duties for work orders.
• Move heavy equipment safely and perform other duties as assigned.
