Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of our properties, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality. The role involves completing work orders, performing preventative maintenance, and assisting in make-ready tasks for new lease-ups.

You will inspect and repair systems, coordinate with vendors, and document all activities. A valid driver’s license and EPA certifications are required, with on-site work and rotating on-call duties. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in completing work orders and preventative maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose defects and perform repairs following safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventive maintenance.
• Finish the make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate vendors as needed.
• Track inventory and notify supervisor when re-ordering materials.
• Document service requests and close tickets accurately.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Participate in cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts.
