Job summary

Mayfaire Apartments in Raleigh, NC is hiring a Maintenance/Service Technician to perform make-ready repairs on vacant units and respond to on-call paging as scheduled by the Service Manager.

You will apply plumbing, electrical and carpentry skills, follow OSHA and SDS guidelines, and aim for same-day completion of Work Orders. A high school diploma or GED is required; a CFC certificate and a valid driver’s license are preferred where needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• OSHA and SDS knowledge.
• Plumbing, electrical, carpentry skills preferred.
• 608 Refrigerant Certification preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform make-ready repairs on vacant units.
• On-call 24 hours as scheduled by the Service Manager.
• Assist with inventory control and maintenance supplies.
• Inspect property for improvements and repairs and report to Service Manager.
• Maintain a clean maintenance shop and follow safety policies.
• Follow policies and assist other staff as needed.
