Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain the community’s physical condition and deliver world-class service to residents. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and address service requests promptly.

The role supports safety policies, works with various systems, and participates in a rotating on-call schedule to provide 24/7 maintenance coverage. Candidates should have 1–3 years of maintenance experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED graduate level.
• 1-3 years of maintenance experience.
• Basic troubleshooting skills.
• Certifications relevant to the region (EPA 608, Boiler Certification, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair) obtained within 9 months.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance support for general maintenance and orderliness of property HVA, mechanical, electrical, utilities and lighting systems. Including inspections and repairs.
• Ensuring the successful execution of all company safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Delivering the highest level of resident satisfaction through responsive, consistent, positive, and professional interactions.
• Working a rotating on call schedule to have 24/7 maintenance coverage
