Job summary

Franklin Group in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain the operation and upkeep of property buildings and grounds. You will diagnose problems and perform repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior structure, and appliances.

You will respond promptly to resident work orders, manage daily repair tasks, inspect units, maintain tools and supplies, and follow OSHA safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC repairs, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
• Respond to resident work orders and notify management upon completion.
• Responsible for daily repair and upkeep of the community.
• Maintain and inventory tools and supplies.
