Job summary

YES Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our community grounds safe, clean, and well-supplied. You will handle repairs, perform inspections, and support resident needs while collaborating with the management team.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, water meter reads, and on-site deliveries. The role requires physical stamina, a valid in-state driver's license, and basic software/tablet proficiency.

Qualifications

• Valid in-state driver's license is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous home refurbishment or make-ready experience preferred.
• HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Pool Operation experience are a PLUS.
• OSHA certifications or trainings are a plus.
• Proficiency in industry software products including the use of electronic devices/tablets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rental inventory through preventative maintenance, work-orders, and home refurbs.
• Keep the community grounds, common areas, and vacant lots clean and free of debris and trash.
• Complete all work in a timely manner, without sacrificing quality or safety standards.
• Respond to after-hour emergency calls according to on-call schedule.
• Read water meters, identify, and resolve leaks within the community as applicable.
• Organize maintenance facilities, tools, and equipment.
