Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance team and ensure upkeep and repairs for the property. The role requires strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, plus supervisory experience and the ability to manage tools, safety policies, and vendor work.

The position offers full-time hours, with on-call responsibilities and a competitive hourly wage.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Ability to operate various hand tools including power tools.
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with internal and external contacts.
• Property maintenance/handyman experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and schedule daily maintenance tasks, including preparing vacant units for occupancy.
• Assist with interviewing and selecting maintenance staff and vendors.
• Train service, housekeeping/custodial, and grounds personnel.
• Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Ensure OSHA standards and safety policies are followed.
