Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance team across our property portfolio. You will coordinate daily tasks, prepare units for occupancy, and ensure preventative maintenance is executed efficiently.

The role requires HVAC, plumbing, and electrical knowledge, strong supervisory skills, and the ability to manage tools, inventory, and vendor work. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Ability to operate various hand tools including power tools.
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with internal and external contacts.
• Property maintenance/handyman experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule daily maintenance tasks including preparing vacant units for occupancy and preventative maintenance.
• Assist with interviewing and screening maintenance/housekeeping/custodial/grounds personnel.
• Train service, housekeeping/custodial, and grounds staff.
• Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Improve maintenance processes and methods.
• Maintain MSDS sheets and replacement logs.
• Ensure team meets attendance and performance expectations.
• Oversee vendor work scheduling and selection.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and delivery of supplies under supervisor direction.
• Enforce OSHA safety standards and company policies.
• Handle lock-outs and 24-hour service responses.
• Be available for on-call shifts.
