Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is actively seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team across properties. You will oversee daily tasks, handle repairs, and implement preventative maintenance programs to maintain high-quality living environments.

Required knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, plus hands-on tool use and supervisory experience. On-site duties, on-call availability, and vendor coordination are included with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Ability to operate various hand tools including power tools.
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with internal and external contacts.

Responsibilities

• Perform and schedule daily maintenance tasks including preparing vacant units for occupancy and preventative maintenance.
• Assist with interviewing, screening, and recommending maintenance staff in conjunction with the manager.
• Assist in training of all maintenance personnel.
• Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Take initiative to improve processes and maintenance methods.
• Maintain MSDS sheets and replacement logs.
• Ensure maintenance team attendance and performance.
• Oversee vendor work selection and supervision.
• Manage inventory and procurement of supplies and equipment.
• Ensure OSHA standards and safety policies are followed.
• Handle lock-outs and 24-hour service responses.
• Be available for on-call work.
