Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team, oversee daily tasks, and ensure property upkeep for assigned communities.

The role requires knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, plus supervisory experience and a hands-on maintenance approach. On-site work with on-call responsibilities and vendor coordination are core aspects.

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing and electrical knowledge required.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Ability to operate power and hand tools.
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with internal and external contacts.
• Property maintenance/handyman experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and schedule daily maintenance tasks including preparing vacant units for occupancy and preventative maintenance.
• Assist with interviewing, screening, and recommending service, housekeeping/custodial, or grounds personnel.
• Assist in training of all service, housekeeping/custodial, or grounds personnel.
• Maintain work areas, tools, and equipment; keep logs updated.
• Ensure OSHA safety policies are followed and 24-hour service response is available.
• Supervise and coordinate vendor work and inventory for maintenance supplies.
