Job summary

Mandarin Oriental, Boston is seeking an On-Call Steward to join our Food and Beverage team. Based here, you will maintain the cleanliness of china, silverware, glassware and cookware while supporting a luxury operation in a Forbes Five‑Star setting.

The role requires at least 2 years in a similar stewarding position, fluent English, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. On‑call shifts may occur in evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a similar stewarding role, luxury hospitality preferred.
• Reading, writing and spoken English required.
• Able to walk/stand for the shift and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Availability for on-call shifts in evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash hotel china, silverware, glassware, service ware and cookware.
• Maintain cleanliness of all food service pieces and related tools.
• Keep Food & Beverage equipment and areas clean and orderly.
• Sort waste for disposal, recycling and composting.
• Transport dishes, glasses and serving pieces around the hotel.
• Follow proper food safety and sanitation guidelines.
