Job summary

American Cancer Society is seeking a Concierge to serve as the first point of contact at the lodge front desk. You will greet guests, manage check-in/check-out, provide information about amenities, and coordinate transportation and services with a focus on safety and guest satisfaction.

The role is on‑call, with varied day/evening shifts and weekend availability, and an hourly pay rate of 19.50 USD. Candidates should be flexible, dependable, and capable of multitasking in a dynamic guest-service

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Hospitality/customer service experience is a plus.
• Experience in guest services, nonprofit settings, or related customer-facing environment preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and manage check-in/check-out procedures (front desk operations).
• Provide information about lodge amenities and community resources.
• Coordinate transportation and Hope Lodge services and schedules.
• Respond to guest requests, concerns and emergencies with professionalism.
• Maintain an organized front desk area and accurate guest records.
• Monitor lobby security and implement safety protocols.
