Job summary

The American Cancer Society in Dallas is seeking a Concierge to be the first point of contact at our lodge. This on-call, as-needed role manages front desk operations, checks guests in and out, answers inquiries, and coordinates transportation and security to ensure a welcoming environment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and hospitality or customer services experience; flexibility to cover day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts. Pay rate is $19.50/hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Hospitality management or customer service training is a plus.
• Experience in hospitality, guest services, retail, nonprofit, or related customer-facing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and manage check-in/check-out procedures (30%).
• Provide information about lodge amenities and community resources (20%).
• Coordinate transportation and Hope Lodge services and schedules (15%).
• Respond to guest requests, concerns, and emergencies (15%).
• Maintain front desk records and organize area (10%).
• Monitor lobby security and follow safety protocols (10%).
• Assist with phone calls, guest referrals, room checks, and tours as needed.
