Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. seeks reliable kitchen staff to support serving lines, food prep, and basic kitchen operations on an as-needed basis across multiple states. The role entails maintaining food safety, proper temperatures, and clean, organized work areas.

Responsibilities include assisting with menu execution, preparing baked goods, operating standard kitchen equipment, and enforcing FIFO inventory while presenting food appealingly to customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred; or up to one month related experience, training or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines daily and ensure all food is held at the required temperatures.
• Assist in preparation of foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes; plan and prep ahead for next day menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment with proper certification.
• Keep work areas neat, clean, and organized; clean kitchen and cafeteria areas including equipment and dishes.
• Maintain FIFO inventory; keep cooler/storage racks clean and debris-free.
• Prepare breads and baked goods; present to customers appealingly.
• Batch cook to maintain quality and presentation; set up serving/bar lines and restock items.
