Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking a kitchen staff member to support daily food production and serving operations.

You will assist in setting up serving lines, prepare items per menu, and help maintain proper food temperatures and presentation. Candidates should be able to read simple instructions, follow recipes, and work in a fast-paced environment. The role requires standing, lifting up to 25 pounds, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain temperature controls.
• Willingness to stand for extended periods and handle routine kitchen tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines daily and ensure food is held at required temperatures.
• Assist in preparation of foods per menu plan and recipes.
• Operate equipment (slicers, mixers, grinders) with proper certification.
• Keep work areas neat, clean, and organized.
• Maintain FIFO inventory and clean storage areas.
• Assist with dishwashing area and monitor chemical usage.
• Prepare baked goods as required by the menu plan.
