Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking kitchen staff to support daily food service operations across menus and recipes.

Duties include set-up of serving lines, food preparation per the menu plan, and proper temperature handling. You will operate basic kitchen equipment with required certification and maintain clean work areas while ensuring quality presentation to customers. The role involves batch cooking, restocking, and assisting with administrative tasks like timekeeping and brief daily

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred; or up to one month related experience, training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and employees

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines daily and ensure food held at required temperatures
• Prepare foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes; plan and prep ahead for next day menus
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders and other equipment with proper certification
• Maintain neat, clean work areas and equipment; manage inventory and FIFO
• Prepare and bake bread, cakes, cookies as required; present to customers
• Set up serving lines and ensure proper serving sizes and utensils
• Follow HACCP processes and maintain daily production records; comply with safety rules
