Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. seeks on-demand kitchen staff to assist with serving line setup, food prep, and daily operations. The role requires adherence to recipes, proper food temperatures, and clean, organized work areas.

Employees rotate through production tasks, maintain FIFO processes, and follow HACCP-like safety logs. Candidate should be able to read simple instructions and perform basic math, with flexibility for shifts across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred; or up to one month related experience, training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide; interpret basic measurements and recipes
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions and solve problems

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines daily and ensure food is held at proper temperatures
• Prepare foods according to the menu plan and Opaa! recipes; plan ahead for next day menus
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment with proper certification
• Keep work areas neat, clean, and organized; maintain FIFO inventory
• Clean kitchen and cafeteria areas and restock serving lines as needed
• Requisition food and supplies through the Kitchen Manager; present to customers
• Batch cook to maintain quality and presentation; assist with baked goods
