Job summary

Opaa! Food Management is seeking kitchen staff on an as-needed basis. Employees assist with set-up of serving lines, prepare foods per menu and recipes, and ensure proper food temperatures are maintained.

Duties include operating equipment, maintaining clean work areas, and supporting inventory control. Cash handling and meal reconciliation tasks are part of daily responsibilities. The role requires following standardized recipes, HACCP procedures, and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred; or up to one month related experience, training or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines daily and ensure food is held at required temperatures.
• Prepare foods according to menu plan and Opaa! recipes; plan ahead for next day menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment with proper certification.
• Keep work areas neat and clean; maintain FIFO; stock coolers and storage racks.
• Prepare baked goods as required; present to customers appealingly.
• Batch cook to maintain quality and presentation; restock serving lines as needed.
• Handle customer monies, run a cash register, and ensure only reimbursable meals pass through POS.
