Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking kitchen staff to support serving lines, food prep, and daily operations on an as-needed basis. Responsibilities include maintaining proper temperatures, operating equipment, and presenting foods appealingly to customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or up to one month related experience
• Ability to read and follow simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to write simple correspondence and present information to customers and employees
• Basic mathematical skills: add/subtract, compute ratios and percentages

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines and ensure food held at required temperatures
• Prepare foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes; batch cook and present food appealingly
• Operate kitchen equipment with proper certification
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and FIFO inventory practices
• Handle customer monies and operate cash register when required
• Complete daily paperwork, clock in/out, and report time accurately
