Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking an Operator to operate and maintain sludge, dewatering treatment, processing, disposal and testing equipment at an industrial site. The role requires learning and independently handling pumps, engines, centrifuges, generators, valves, conveyors and related devices, while supporting a team-based environment and process control software.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma/GED, ability to read/write English, basic math skills, and a valid driver’s

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Some experience in a related position preferred.
Ability to read, write and comprehend English.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Must be able to serve rotational 24-hour emergency on call if required by site.
Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
Must pass a drug test and a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain sludge, dewatering treatment, processing, disposal and testing equipment.
Learn and independently operate pumps, engines, centrifuge, generators and other associated equipment.
Work in a team environment and assume additional responsibilities.
Use computer programs for process control.
