Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking an Operator I to operate and maintain sludge, dewatering treatment, processing, disposal and testing equipment in a refinery/industrial facility to purify water to meet customer specifications.

You will join an on-site operations team, learning to operate pumps, centrifuges, generators, valves and other equipment, and you must be available for 24-hour emergency on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Some related experience preferred.
• Must read, write and understand English to follow instructions and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain sludge, dewatering treatment, processing, disposal and testing equipment.
• Demonstrate ability to learn and operate equipment such as pumps, centrifuge, generators, valves and measurement devices.
• Work in a team environment and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
• Use computer programs for process control.
