Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking an Operator I for a refinery/industrial facility to purify water to meet customer specifications. The incumbent will operate and maintain sludge, dewatering treatment, processing, disposal and testing equipment.

You will learn to operate pumps, centrifuges, generators, valves and related equipment, work in a team environment, and support on-call emergency responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and comprehend English.
• Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Learn and independently operate assigned machines and equipment to meet processing and quality targets.
• Operate equipment such as pumps, centrifuges, generators, valves, belts, and related devices.
• Work in a team and be willing to take on new responsibilities.
• Be available for rotational 24-hour emergency on‑call if required.
