Job summary

Kids for the Future in Scotia, NY is seeking a Maintenance Worker to handle daily repairs and security of the facility. You will perform work orders, upkeep grounds and buildings, and collaborate with contractors while following safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Maintenance worker must have general experience or knowledge of the trades.
• Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and mechanical skills.
• Must have good communication and organizational skills.
• Must effectively delegate to and motivate staff.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders on time, safely and of high quality.
• Maintain a neat and organized maintenance shop.
• Provide written and verbal reports as requested by supervisor.
• Be on-call and available for emergencies.
• Maintain grounds, buildings, automobiles and equipment.
• Work with outside contractors and vendors.
