Job summary

Family & Children's Services is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to perform routine upkeep, repairs, and safety checks across multiple sites. You will handle basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC support, carpentry, and event-related setups.

The role requires a HS diploma, prior maintenance experience preferred, and a valid driver license. You will participate in rotating on-call shifts for after-hours and weekend emergencies, and maintain records of work and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or HS equivalent.
• General maintenance or related experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid Driver License and satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance and minor repairs as assigned.
• Assist with tracking maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment service.
• Support safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety policies and building codes.
• Perform basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC tasks and coordinate service calls.
• Assist with furniture moves and office reconfigurations.
• Participate in rotating on‑call schedule for after‑hours maintenance issues.
